The garden was a hit with our four kids, with lots of room to play and a stream nearby where they could swim. The villa sits in a lovely village and worked really well for our two families. It’s a spacious, historic house with comfortable beds. The creaky upstairs floors felt charming to us, though a little oil on the hinges might quiet some of the squeaks. We had a warm welcome from the kind owner, who lives nearby and was very accommodating throughout. The kitchen is large and well stocked, but there’s no oven. The washing machine and garden clothesline came in handy. It’s a comfortable base for exploring the Picos de Europa.

There’s plenty of room for a big family or group of friends, with several living and dining spaces and more bathrooms than you’re likely to need. The gated parking area and easy walk into town are handy too. WiFi, TVs, and a well-equipped kitchen are there, though you’ll need to bring your own food and wine. Highly recommended.

Nine of us stayed comfortably, with lots of bathrooms and outdoor space. Pillar is lovely and very helpful. We managed fine communicating through Google Translate, and we’ll definitely come back.

The garden and roomy house made a great base for our two families, eight people in all, for a couple of nights near the river in Potes. Pilar was lovely and attentive, helping us with everything we needed and offering advice. We couldn’t have picked a better place. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay here again and recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Greetings from the Valencians :)
