Apartamentos Fuente El Güeyu

We spent 6 nights in a 2 room apartment and used it like home, cooking for ourselves with the stovetop, electric kettle, dishwasher, utensils, and washing machine. Everything worked well, and the apartment was clean, beautifully designed, and had all we needed. The roomy bathroom and large shower were great, with plenty of closet space for our clothes. We especially appreciated the heating, the “unlimited” hot water, and the warm wooden floors during our December trip, as those aren’t usually standard in the other places we’d stayed. There was a pretty covered porch and a BBQ terrace at the back. It was quiet day and night, with open views and no other buildings in the way. There’s plenty of parking, and a large supermarket is a 10 minutes drive away. It’s also a great base for exploring the northern Picos de Europa, with lakes, peaks, tracks, and gorges. Self check-in was easy, and Andrea and Carlos communicated clearly before we arrived and during the stay. Andrea was always reachable if we needed anything. Excellent host!

We were able to bring our dog, and it was her first trip. She felt at home from the start, so that was one of the best parts of the holiday. We stayed 10 days and found the apartments magnificent, well equipped with a washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kitchenware, mop, broom, clothespins, and clothesline. It’s a peaceful spot just minutes from Cangas de Onís, in a very strategic location. Susana’s cleaning was impeccable. We saw her getting the apartments ready for other guests, and she was very thorough and careful. Andrea was attentive every day and fully committed to making our stay pleasant. She was always ready to help and offer advice. We’ll definitely be back!

Andrea was attentive whenever we needed something, and the place was in perfect condition. It suited our trip north, and its location near Cangas de Onís and the Covadonga Lakes was exactly what I wanted, whether travelling with a pet or without. I brought a little dog who might be affectionate, and we were lucky to meet neighbors with an adorable dog of their own. The two dogs had a great time.

It’s tucked away somewhere lovely and peaceful, and the apartment itself is beautiful. Andrea, the owner, was so kind and attentive to everything. There’s so much to see and do nearby that we’d come back for a longer stay and take our time enjoying the place.
