The owner Emilio was really friendly and knew the area inside out. This is a family-run hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and a superb semi-buffet breakfast. The location is convenient for Cangas de Onís and the bus to Picos de Europa, and parking was never a problem during our stay. Highly recommended for a pleasant trip.

The hotel is lovely, and the breakfast was amazing. Its location is strategic, close to totaling 4, where you can catch the bus to the lakes of Covadonga. Emilio was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful.

La Balsa is a traditional Asturian family-run hotel near Cangas de Onís, and Emilio was hospitable and quick to respond. Having a car is a good idea, since there is public transport nearby but it runs infrequently and can be unreliable. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and well equipped, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast is included and excellent, with plenty of buffet choices and some items made to order. All in all, I highly recommend La Balsa. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks again, Emilio. The staff were pleasant and very helpful, and we had a great breakfast. It's in a good location with beautiful, quiet surroundings. The room and bathroom were lovely and very clean. Soundproofing could be better, but I'd still highly recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and breakfast was good. The rooms could use some improvement, but for a 2-star hotel, they're totally fine.
