The view from the window takes in both the river and the mountain, and the place is right in the city center, with services within 100m. The room was clean and the service good, so it’s a nice place for a weekend. One thing to know: the rooms aren’t soundproof enough.

For anyone traveling on a budget, this is a great bargain. It’s not super-fancy, but I had no complaints about the room except that you can’t lock the door from inside without the key. Also, what’s the point of having a phone in the room if the paper with the reception number is impossible to read? See photo, room 306. Otherwise, no complaints. I’ll definitely come back. Bizat!

The stay ruined an otherwise wonderful vacation. Staff didn’t understand any English, or seem to try, so explaining that I didn’t want my room cleaned or arranging breakfast was a waste of time. There’s no “do not disturb/do not clean sign,” and room service rudely woke us every morning, trying to break into the room. The room itself was ugly and old, with cardboard-box sound isolation. The closet had no shelves for our things.

The owner was kind, and the place is close to restaurants and shops as well as a free parking area, about 3min walking away. Our room was clean and the price very good. The pillow wasn’t comfortable, though, and you can hear everything happening in the other rooms.
