Sitting on the terrace now, I can say the drive in is quite an ordeal. The road is chaotic and difficult, and at first you worry you’ll never get there. Then you arrive and the deep silence turns that nightmare of a drive into a dream. The food is very good, especially the tuna tartare and carré of Lamb, and the service is lovely. Ask for Marti if you can. He takes such good care of you, explaining things and suggesting places to visit. The surrounding nature is pretty wild, but there are nice visits to make, without any risk of running into COVID-19!

Getting there means tackling a pretty hairy drive, so be ready for that. At the top of the mountain, though, the hotel is amazing. Our room was first-rate, and the valley views stretching toward Barcelona are incredible.

The only thing I liked was the view. You could get that by camping, too. My boyfriend and I were excited to get away from the city and rest in nature, but the stay was awful from the moment we arrived. The road up was terrible, and there was nobody at reception when we got there. It took a while to find someone. The receptionist showed us to our room, then left and said we could call her if we needed anything. She was the only person working, covering the whole hotel, the restaurant, reception, and the rooms. She seemed to be working around the clock. That's shocking. If you're going to run a hotel, be professional and hire enough people. They charge guests high prices but won't pay to staff the place properly. Service was really, really bad. Whenever we needed something, we had to get up and search for the one employee, who could be at reception, in a room, or in the kitchen. Even when I asked for an egg, I was told the kitchen was closed and nobody was there to cook. So strange. Our room was tiny even though we booked a double superior, and I can't imagine what the regular double is like. The air conditioning wasn't suitable at all. There was no soap in the room, just the same shower gel after we called to ask. There wasn't a proper blanket either, only a sheet on the bed. I got cold and asked reception, and they brought us thin, small, old-looking, dirty blankets like the ones in coffee places. The lunch and dinner menus were small, with few choices and the same things. Prices are definitely too high. I don't know how this hotel is still open with management like this. Definitely overrated, overpriced, and horrible service. Camping in nature would be ten times better than throwing your money in the trash.

Don't go there. The generator broke, so there was no gas, water, electricity, internet, or cooling. The landlord neither arranged a repair nor offered us another place to stay. A fuller review is coming soon.
