Remolars 3 Townhouse

A steep set of stairs leads up to the apartment, so it may not work for everyone. The narrow street is only a footway, and noise from the backs of nearby restaurants can carry and bother some people. Still, the apartment was comfortable and had the basic amenities, with everything in the old city, including plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars, within walking distance. Julieta communicated very well before and during our stay, replied promptly and offered to fix a small issue on a Sunday evening.

The house had a lot of charm, and the location was just right. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves. The sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and there’s no elevator, which could matter to some guests, but otherwise everything was great.

We paid over 800€ for four nights, but the apartment could only really accommodate two people, even though it was rented to us for four. The sofa bed was broken, so we dragged its mattress onto the floor and slept there. After the first night we left, and the host gave us no refund despite being unable to house four people. An awful experience. Stay away from this tourist trap.

We were charged 293 euros for one night at Remolars 3 Townhouse, but arrived to find a dirty apartment. The bedclothes were stained, and the floor was covered in hair, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. I attached a photo as evidence. I raised it with Julieta straight away, but she only offered to have the apartment cleaned the next day, when we’d already be checking out. We had rented it for one night in late August, so that didn’t help. At first, communication with the host, Julieta, had seemed promising. After our trip, she repeatedly said the administration would process a refund. A month has passed and I still haven’t received anything, and Julieta has stopped replying to my messages. Between the poor cleaning and those unkept promises, I strongly discourage anyone expecting a pleasant stay from choosing this accommodation in Palma.
