Universal Castell Royal Hotel

The pool lifeguard, Octavio, deserves a special mention. He was always helpful, cheerful, and kind, as were the waiters at the pool bar. Everyone made me feel welcome during my six days here. The receptionists were friendly and smiling, even greeting me with a glass of champagne, and nothing seemed to be a problem. They also let me keep my room until the evening on departure day since my flight was later. The accommodation was beautiful, with a sea view, and the staff were lovely. The food was always tasty. Canyamel is close to my heart, and I’d love to come back. Thank you all!

The hotel looks modern and has a perfect sea view. We stayed five nights this July, and the service and employees were exceptional. The meals we tried were tasty, though there wasn’t much choice at lunch and dinner. I also missed having a gym. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The food was delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and every staff member was kind and welcoming. You can tell the management looks after the hotel with care. Great location and service. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come again.

We spent a week here in July and loved it. The hotel was spotless, and every staff member was really friendly. They all deserve a raise. Our panoramic room on the 8th floor had a wonderful view over the bay. Being right on the beach is fantastic. Canyamel is small and quiet, with not a lot to do, but it has what you need: a small supermarket, doctor, farmacia, pizzeria, and souvenir shop. We were glad to have a rental car. My one small criticism is that the elevators are small. We’ll be back.
