Apartamentos Ponent Mhm

The apartment was cozy and the location in cala Ratjada makes it quick to get everywhere. I would have preferred to choose a specific apartment instead of being assigned one, and the kitchen equipment is very basic.

The apartment was good value for the price, and the ground floor unit was very clean. We ate out, so I can't say much about the kitchen, but it had what we needed. The rooms are simply furnished, the beds are okay, though the worn mattresses could use replacing. There's only one mirror, in the very nice bathroom, so another would help. The shower is spacious. The sofa is unusable because you feel every spring, and when we tested it as a sofa bed, it tipped over. The spot is quiet and convenient unless the neighbors are noisy, since the walls are thin. Son Moll promenade and the main square are both about five minutes away.

I felt right at home here, and would definitely come back. The people were friendly, greeted us with smiles, and were always keen to help. My rating is 4.5 stars, highly recommended. The apartment was nicely renovated and well equipped, with good pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, Turkish coffee pot, large fridge with a freezer and three drawers, stone worktop, good lighting, comfortable chairs, and a large table. I missed a wooden cutting board, salt and pepper to start, tea or coffee, and a grater. The towels and cotton linens were lovely, clean, and really white. We also got extra blankets without any problem. The location is central, with the sandy cove five minutes away. The long, wide promenade has exotic plants, lots of restaurants, and a beautiful water view. The best tapas we had were at Eu.for.ia. The terrace was lovely, with an awning, though its arm didn't work and we had to adjust it by hand. The garden furniture was great, and there was a water tap in the garden/on the facade. The property was well fenced and also had barbed wire. Mosquitoes were around, though that can't be controlled; a plug-in trap or mosquito net would have helped. The bedrooms only get three stars because you can hear the neighbors. The entrance door and signs were confusing, and it took us a long time to work out what went with what. The Wi-Fi details were behind the TV and hard to reach. They should be printed large and left on the table. The hallway smelled lovely and fresh. Unfortunately, there were only two rolls of toilet paper for eight Thalers and four people. The toilet had a large shower, but small insects came in through the ventilation.
