Villa Amoros

A great budget hotel with plenty of amenities, including a gym and pools, so I'd definitely recommend it. It's very close to the harbour, and the staff were excellent and friendly. The hotel and basic rooms were both clean and tidy. Breakfast had lots of variety and was great for filling up in the morning.

The food was tasty and had quite a bit of variety. Staff were friendly and spoke English and German. The rooms are simple but neat and well-kept, and the nearest beach is 500m away. Cala Agula is a steep walk of about 30 minutes, but it's worth going. I recommend it.

The cockroaches were the worst part. One fell into my lap during breakfast one morning, and we found another in the bathroom that night. I really don't want to bring home a cockroach souvenir. When we arrived, the hotel looked modern and well equipped. We got a large double room with lots of space, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes. Even with the windows open all day, it was terrible, so we asked to move and got a smaller room. The air conditioning worked sometimes and sometimes didn't. The shower water wouldn't drain, and there was often a stinky smell too. For this poor quality, it was much too expensive.

The location was perfect, with lots of beaches and places to explore nearby. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the service was brilliant. They made a special effort to surprise my daughter for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it. The food was delectable too. I highly recommend it.
