It’s hard to review this place because it could have been a truly amazing holiday. The beach nearby is lovely, the hotel is in a very quiet part of the island, and every employee we met was friendly and helpful. On paper, it seemed perfect for us. We booked through EasyJet. A major problem was the room. We asked for a view and a quiet room, but got neither: there was a noisy road outside, people constantly walked past, and large vehicles emptied rubbish around 6.30 in the morning and 23.00 at night. We’d paid for single beds according to the website, but on arrival were told there weren’t any, so we had to share a king-size bed. That was awkward and embarrassing. Air conditioning was our top priority when booking. It was advertised, but we found it wouldn’t provide cooling until the end of May. Before then it only gives heating, even though the controls show hot or cold. The hotel chooses not to make cold available. Apparently there was a tiny information icon on the website saying this might happen. We were promised a fan, but despite asking three days in a row, never got one. The room was so hot at night, even with the patio doors open, that my son slept on the cool floor. The two big pools were freezing. There’s only one pool table, right in front of the bar TV, so you can’t use it when there’s a match without getting in people’s way. The only dartboard is outside, which was no use in the rain, and it rained a lot during our stay. There was also a horrible smell everywhere outdoors, perhaps from poor drainage. Parking was very limited for such a huge hotel, with no allocated spaces, so we had a considerable walk to find a space on a side street.

The pool was one of my favourite things, especially the Balinese beds. We ended up reserving the same one for a few days in a row. The pool I liked wasn’t heated, which suited me because I love cold-water swimming. The local cats were adorable, and my husband made a few friends with them. The whole resort was spotless, and the food each day was amazing. We’d read reviews saying there weren’t snacks available, but after three meals a day we didn’t need any. With the higher package, it was handy to contact reception on WhatsApp, and we liked the QR codes on the bar tables. It was our first visit and we had an incredible, relaxing time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Miguel for such a warm welcome, and to Marcela in housekeeping for being so lovely. We’re planning to book again for 2027 and hope to make it an annual trip. Highly recommend, and thanks to the whole team for a fabulous holiday!

A lovely place to unwind, with great rooms and very good staff. The beach is fantastic and there are lovely walks nearby. If you’re after nightclubs, this isn’t the place.

After seven years without a holiday, our first one was perfect, even though it lasted only six nights. The location and hotel were wonderful, and the staff made us feel welcome both when we arrived and when we left. They made sure we had all the essentials for our stay. The rooms were spacious and cleaned well each day when needed. We loved the buffet, with its impressive range and quality of food, and the service was great. It’s a very quiet place to relax and forget your worries. I can’t recommend it enough, and really hope I can come back one day.

Our Royal Terrace with Selection Club stay was great, and All inclusive plus suited us perfectly. We arrived on 28th September for 12 nights, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The food, staff, and service all deserve 5 ⭐. The accommodation and cleaning throughout were excellent, and the hot tub was cleaned every day. Our room cleaner Marcella did a great job daily, and Anita did a great job organising the restaurants. We met ‘Nacho’, a Director, who was charming and always available to talk with customers. We’ve already booked to come back in June 2026.
