Casa Josefa

We'd already been visiting Capileira for six years when we stayed at Casa Josefa on our honeymoon. We decided to extend our trip, found it online, and it turned out to be the best decision. Elena was wonderful and always available, and this will be the first place we check for a booking next time, hopefully soon. The duplex is beautifully decorated, fully insulated, and has a lovely fireplace. Its two bedrooms are very spacious, and there's a living-dining room and a sunny terrace with incredible views over the Poqueira Gorge. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the house is in one of the village's best areas. Thank you so much for everything! 😊😊

Elena is the sort of wonderful host you're grateful to meet. Her charming traditional Alpujarran house has everything for a comfortable, peaceful stay, with beauty all around. It's close to parking, shops, restaurants, and whatever else you might need, and a lovely place to relax and enjoy Capileira.

The balcony has spectacular views, and the living room fireplace makes the house feel especially welcoming. It’s a restored Alpujarran home that keeps its traditional rural character while still being comfortable. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms had heating. Elena was kind and always ready to help. We felt at home and would love to come back soon.

Elena and Thierry made us feel very welcome and were friendly and helpful throughout. The house is beautifully decorated and sits in a good spot in the village. We enjoyed the lovely views from both the balcony and terrace. Everything was just right.
