I still find myself dreaming about going back. We stayed for around half a week, and I loved how warm and sheltered the place felt. The hosts were lovely, honest, and so cultured. As someone who loves old places, I felt right at home in this charming building. The host designed the whole hotel and used to design churches too. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to discover an older part of Spanish history.
The food was a highlight, especially the grilled prawns, which were the best I’ve ever had. The manager’s mother is a wonderful cook. This family-run hotel feels cozy and authentic, with spacious, comfortable rooms furnished with authentic Spanish pieces. It’s a quiet countryside retreat and a good base for exploring the Galician coast. Driving into A Coruña is worth it. We can’t say enough good things about this gem, and we’ll definitely be back.
We felt very welcome during our two nights in this peaceful landscape. It’s a lovely, authentic hotel, and the room and bathroom were a good size with nice Galician-style furnishings. Breakfast was good and affordable at 6€. I’d have given it five stars if the room were cleaner, especially under the bed. Thanks for a nice stay!
A quiet, tidy, family-run hotel with great food. The owners are nice and always happy to chat. There are cats, a dog, and other animals around, which is great for kids. Ask them to prepare breakfast or supper.
