We spent a fantastic few days here as a group of friends. The hosts were so welcoming that they even shared fruit and vegetables from their garden. The house was spotless and had excellent facilities, and the setting is idyllic. It would work just as well for families. Highly recommended.
We had a really comfortable stay, even in the cold: there’s underfloor heating in the living room and radiators throughout the bedrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and both the indoor and outdoor areas felt spacious and luxurious. It’s impeccably clean, fully equipped, and the hosts are lovely. One of the best rural houses I’ve stayed in. We’d love to come back in summer and use the pool.
The hosts were the highlight for us, so kind and helpful. Montecillo Bajo is set in a spectacular natural landscape, with breathtaking views of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park. The house is clean and well cared for, with a huge living and dining room that works really well for a group, plus a kitchen and bar right beside it. Underfloor heating is a real treat in winter. We’re hoping to return in summer for the pool and lovely terraces.
You get to the house on an unpaved country road, but it’s easy to manage by car. The place is charming and large enough for a big group, with radiators throughout that keep it nice and warm.
A really lovely weekend, with great hosts and facilities that were in perfect shape. We were very comfortable and will definitely come back.
