El Molino de las Palomas

We especially loved how peaceful it was around the house, with no cars and nature all around. The water from the natural source was delicious, and we made good use of the pétanque court. There are lovely walks nearby, plus the house makes a great base for trips to places in the area and a little farther away. Eleuterio, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with during the holiday. And thanks again for the delicious Paella!! 😋 We’d all like to come back. We had the whole house for 12 days at the end of April and start of May, with our large family. The weather was beautiful, so we spent a lot of time outside, on the different terraces and by the pool or jacuzzi. There was plenty of room for our group. There was a heat wave while we were there, but the house stayed comfortably cool, and it had everything we needed for the vacation.

The owner is excellent, and the place is great to stay in. There’s lots of room indoors and outside, and the pool is big.

After paying 1000 euros for a weekend, I think the extra charges are pretty greedy. Want the jacuzzi? That’s 60 euros more. Early check-in or late checkout costs another 50 euros, and firewood comes with another hefty fee, with more charges like that. It feels like Ryanair, where you pay for every extra, and the prices are unreasonable. Also, the photos make the place look much more spectacular, bigger, and nicer than it is in reality. And there are so many wasps that eating outdoors becomes impossible.

The service was wonderful, and the setting and scenery are excellent. The house is really well equipped for relaxing or having fun. I’d happily return.
