We spent the night here over the May bank holiday. It’s a very quiet, peaceful spot, run by a Catalan family, and the rooms are comfortable. There’s a lounge by the hostal entrance and a microwave too, which came in handy. It was very clean and well located, so I’d recommend it. The one thing I’d suggest is offering some kind of Mediterranean breakfast, since there’s nowhere nearby to buy anything and you have to go into Cardona.

Good value if you need a simple, practical room and have a car. There’s nothing nearby, so it really only works with your own transport.

For what it costs, this is a real bargain. The rooms were clean, the people friendly, and the dog was awesome.

A good roadside hostal to stop at and spend a little time.
