The room and hotel were clean, and the food was adequate. The Spanish staff, as usual, seemed disinterested and unhelpful. The hotel sits at the start of the Last Manga strip, with around 10 kilometres of hotels, apartments, restaurants, and similar places. You'd expect it to feel lively, but somehow both the area and the hotel felt dead, almost desolate. We won't be back.

The view was the one good thing. The food was poorly prepared at both dinner and breakfast, so don't eat there. The AC worked, but it was extremely loud, and the walls were so thin we could hear the neighbors' AC too. In the off-season the area was desolate and most shops were closed. I won't return.

The only real downside was that there weren't many food choices, though it was included in the price, so it was okay. Otherwise, Las Gaviotas was amazing. The room was clean and had a big TV, which was great for watching the Euro finals. I also made sure to check out the pool. The jacuzzi was nice, and the pool itself was lovely too.

We kept hearing everything happening next door because a door seemed to lead straight into the neighbors' room. Our own room also smelled horrible. The food was terrible, and the service didn't listen to or act on any of our requests. Really disappointing.

We had a great time. The room had good views of La Manga, and the food was good too. The reception and lounge areas were very nice.
