The staff here are lovely and helpful. Mia even walked my parents to their apartment in the rain while I parked, since they didn’t know the layout. Their English is widely spoken, and if yours isn’t great, they’re still kind and happy to help. Google Translate and a bit of goodwill should be enough. I dropped my parents off in a two-bedroom apartment, one of the lower-budget options. It has a cute layout, just as shown in the La Mojonera website photos, and feels like it dates from the 1990s. It was very clean and well maintained, with only a little mould on some shower sealant. All the appliances worked, some looked new and others older. The grounds and pool area were spotless and well looked after. If you want to stay in central Isla Plana, these apartments are ideal. My impression is of a friendly, well-run place that knows its market. I’m sure my parents will stay again.

The apartments are clean and fully equipped, right on the coast in a great location. There’s a pool and parking on site, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again. The photo shows the view from the balcony.
