Eva is a charming, helpful host, and breakfast was generous, with a wide variety of food that was replenished each day. There was enough for lunch, a snack, and dessert too. We stayed in the one-bedroom cabin, which was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, modern, and well equipped, with both air conditioning and heating. The village location was ideal, and the enclosed garden had plenty of parking.

The trail to Las Médulas starts just a two-minute walk away, and the house is right in the village with its own parking. Our room was very spacious, everything was spotless, and the house had all the equipment we needed. Eva was attentive to everything and flexible about the dates despite the heavy rain. Breakfast was so plentiful and complete that we canceled the next day's breakfast because there was still so much left. The scenery and trails were much better than we'd expected, even after the summer wildfire and heavy rains. A couple of small drawbacks: the pillows were a bit soft, and the Wi-Fi signal dropped out now and then.

The house was spotless and clearly well cared for. I liked the thoughtful addition of individual shower gel, shampoo, and toothpaste; you can see the care they put into getting everything ready. The owner was kind and attentive, and made us feel at home right away. The surroundings are peaceful and lovely for switching off. Even after the summer fires, Las Médulas still has its magic. A wonderful stay, and we'll definitely return.
