They’d even set up a crib for our baby before we arrived. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, plus more, and dinner was fantastic. The staff were lovely and the location is great. Five stars hardly covers it. We’ll definitely come back, and I can’t recommend it enough.

We felt at home here, and Iris was so kind and attentive. We were in touch with her throughout the check-in arrangements, and let her know about 45 minutes before we reached the office to pick up the keys. We’d come from Almería for the flag-swearing ceremony. Apartment 1 worked well for our group of six: it has three bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and one bathroom, with towels, toiletries, and everything else we needed. The rooms were warm and cozy. It’s on the main avenue in Casar de Cáceres, close to restaurants and a supermarket. There’s plenty of parking, and private parking can also be booked. Casar de Cáceres is a spectacular place. Our stay was very comfortable, and if we return, we know where we’ll stay. Thanks so much, Iris.

We felt misled because Booking.com had no photos of the apartment. When we asked the owner, she said she had many properties and couldn’t upload all the pictures, though there were three photos of deer. If we’d seen pictures like the ones I shared, we wouldn’t have booked. The place felt old and neglected, as if no money had gone into its upkeep since it opened. There was a dusty, musty smell as soon as we walked in. The sofa was pallets with mismatched cushions, all dusty, and the large rug smelled dusty too. One bedroom had a worn fabric headboard; the lamp had similar fabric and looked broken. A very bad experience. I can only give one star, and wouldn’t recommend it.

The apartment, sheets, blankets, and towels all smelled damp. On top of that, the claim that free accommodation was available on the premises turned out to be another lie when we arrived. We were meant to check in at 2:00 PM, but Ruth didn’t turn on her phone until 6:30 PM. When I finally reached her, she told me she’d replied to my text, which wasn’t true. She was unpleasant too. In short, don’t go there.
