A lovely spot for unwinding and exploring this beautiful region. It’s peaceful and feels homey, and the location works well. Ascen is wonderful, and the croquettes are great too.

Asun, the owner, was a delight and pointed us toward some beautiful places to visit. We spent two nights there and felt right at home. The setting is quiet and well located, making it perfect for a couple wanting to explore the area. We’d happily repeat the experience.

We’re a group of bikers from Huesca and this is our second year staying here. The roads are impressive for motorcycle rides, and the quiet is just as striking. Ascen, the charming owner, keeps everything in perfect condition and can tell you what you need to know about the area. She also prepares local dishes and makes the stay really pleasant. Teresa, her friendly assistant, deserves a mention too. It was a pleasure sharing these days.

We had such a comfortable week at la cabachuela! The house is very well equipped, with a washing machine, coffee maker and kitchenware. I’m really grateful to Ascen for her generosity and for making our stay in Las Hurdes so enjoyable. 🙏🏽👌🏽

The surroundings are spectacular, and the owner was always attentive, making sure we knew about the area's must-see places. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. I came to Las Hurdes to enjoy myself, not to cook, after all, I have the rest of the year for that. Highly recommended!
