Hotel Canitas Suite

The service was very good.

We loved the food package, which let us try all three restaurants. The hotel occupies a beautifully renovated building, and our room was roomy and comfortable, with a large double bed and a modern, comfortable bathroom. There’s no lift, but the hotel only has its own floors, so taking the stairs was no problem for us. Breakfast is served in a nearby separate building. The buffet had plenty of variety, and the orange juice was fresh. You could also order eggs made different ways at no extra charge. It was well worth it.

I slept incredibly well here. The beds and other facilities were excellent quality and comfortable, and it was a charming hotel. We had a fantastic stay!

The only real bother was the shared main entrance. Guests kept slamming the doors until service ended, and it was quite disruptive. That aside, we had a fantastic weekend. The hotel is in a recently renovated building, with Taberñita, a bar from the same group, downstairs. We’d seen mixed comments about breakfast, but I thought it was a 10 out of 10, maybe even better. There were lots of sweet and savory choices, including local products. The cured meats and olive oil stood out, and the carrot cake and cheesecake were excellent. I’d recommend breakfast if you’re staying at any of the group’s hotels. The gentleman I took to be the manager or supervisor was brilliant, attentive to every detail and a real professional. I’d definitely recommend the hotel for couples or a romantic getaway. 100% recommended!
