The room was noisy all day because kids at the park below the window kept screaming and crying. There’s no parking nearby, and inside, everything felt very old. The plates and glasses were dirty. A really bad hotel. :(

We didn’t know the room came with an ensuite, so that was a nice surprise, and it was much larger and more stylish than we expected. The owner was lovely and did a lot to help, even though our Spanish was very limited. We were welcomed with cold water and little sweets too. A great place to stay.

Mayka made our stay at Casa Pinilla delightful. She’s a wonderful hostess, and the rooms have a level of detail you rarely find at this price. Thank you for everything, Mayka. I’d highly recommend staying here.

I booked through Booking.com. When I was already on my way, the owner canceled at the last minute after I asked why she couldn’t provide an invoice. She said she couldn’t give me one. Then she called, acting cocky, as if she were letting me stay in the rooms for free. Now I have to wait 12 days for the refund.

Maica was pleasant and helpful, and the house was spacious and very well kept. It’s a pretty place, more than 500 years old and beautifully renovated, with comfortable bedding. There was fresh water waiting for us when we arrived. No complaints.
