Hospedería Tía María

A great, small hotel.

The surroundings were unbeatable, and breakfast and service were excellent. We were four, two adults and two children, staying in the "La Lanchuela" room. It was a very pleasant stay, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and nice heating. The bathroom was en-suite, but separate from the other rooms.

Juan Carlos made us feel right at home, welcoming us kindly and serving the homemade breakfast himself with such ease. We only stayed one night this past weekend, but the room was very large and comfortable, with a seating area, table and chairs, whirlpool tub, and private bathroom with a shower. There was even a refrigerator with a bottle of white wine, which surprised us. The bed was large, firm, and very comfortable, though the room was very warm. The shower took a long time to heat up and the water pressure was weak. Otherwise, everything was great for a rural guesthouse. Thank you for everything!

The food was okay, though far too expensive for what it was. We stayed last weekend using a Smartbox gift and were given a cramped, quite bad room on the ground floor, with a tiny terrace shared with the room next door. The bedspread and cushions were very dirty, and there were stains and peeling paint on the walls. At least the radiators had been turned on in both the bedroom and bathroom, since it was so cold.
