Casa Rural La Calcina

We came together here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day since our family lives in different cities, and stayed four days. The hosts were lovely, checking that we were comfortable and keeping the house warm. They'd even put up a Christmas tree. The house itself has a large, pleasant living and dining area, roomy bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms, and a very well-equipped kitchen. There are long walks and hikes right from the village, and the stone monastery is about a 25-minute drive away. I'd highly recommend it for a family or friends' trip.

Pilar, the owner, was a delight, and the house was spotless with comfortable beds. There were 19 of us and we had a wonderful stay. It had absolutely everything we needed, and the Monasterio de Piedra is 20 minutes away.

We've rented this house several times and have always been happy with it. Mrs. Pilar is kind and attentive, and we'll definitely come back. It's spacious, clean, and very well kept, with heating throughout. There's a recently renovated bathroom on each floor, too.

The village has 60 inhabitants, and there's a bar where you can order bread. You can go on excursions and find playgrounds along the river, which makes it a charming place. The owner was attentive and charming, and the rooms are large, with a new bathroom on each floor. The mattresses were a bit too soft for me, if I had to mention one thing.
