The building's soundproofing is a joke, and the staff were really noisy in the morning while cleaning rooms. The front desk staff were extremely rude. I arrived a day after my partner, so no check-in was needed. Lydia at reception didn't look at me or ask for a passport or anything. Someone with bad intentions could easily have entered and done as they pleased. The receptionist was useless. She wouldn't accept our supermarket order and told the delivery person to take it back, even though we were in the building waiting for it. When we asked Lydia about it, she was rude for no reason.

The room was clean and tidy, the receptionist was friendly, and the apartment is near the beach with a kitchen and air conditioning. But the reception is a kilometer away and nobody is at the apartment. The bedcovers smelled, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and the beds creaked whenever you moved, even an inch.

My family of three booked a short Barcelona holiday at SG Marina 54 Apartments. Two passports and a national ID were stolen from our room. We hadn't marked the passports before leaving, so didn't realize they were gone until we were about to travel. A good option for families, with clean rooms, a pool and lovely private gardens. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms on the upper floor, and the staff were very helpful, especially the Manager. There's private underground parking for an extra 15 euros a day. The sandy beach is within walking distance, the airport is 8 minutes away, and central Barcelona is 15 minutes away. The only small downside is the flights passing over the apartment, which you'd expect this close to the airport. I'd recommend a visit.
