Apartamentos Porta Coeli

Castelldefels is a quiet neighbourhood, and the sea and beach are an easy five-minute walk away. If you’re hiring a car and planning to explore the area, it’s a great base. There’s plenty of parking, including a private enclosed space with an automatic gate. The apartment was tidy, clean, and well maintained, with a microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. We had a spacious balcony looking pleasantly onto the pool area at the back. The host was very friendly and helpful, and got us checked in within five minutes. I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back.

This was our second stay at Porta Coeli, and we can’t recommend the apartments enough. They’re clean, comfortable, and very family friendly. The staff have always been polite, welcoming, and helpful. There’s an on-site pool, which is a real treat when you have little ones and want a quiet day in. The building has laundry facilities, and the apartments have all the basics. It’s a three-minute walk to the beach in a quieter part of Castelldefels. Local restaurants are nearby, and the train to Barcelona is fairly close. You can borrow a bike for free to go to their main site, Marfina, where they also offer complimentary services. A special mention for Catia, who’s a real asset to the company. The people here are especially nice, and the service is good. The man who comes in the morning always greets us and our kids with a good morning. The apartment is beautiful and pleasant, and the place is very family friendly, with convenient access to everything. I can’t wait to come back.

We’d come again. These are very good holiday apartments, clean and well looked after, with a pool and bikes available. The beach is 500 metres away, and it suited a family break with young children. Getting to Barcelona was easy too.
