Hotel Castellon Center Affiliated by Meliá

The gym was the one letdown: it had treadmills and a few basic machines, but no dumbbells or proper equipment. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable, with great rooms, excellent service and a very good breakfast. A really good stay.

We brought our pet along, and the hotel was open to accompanying pets. The rooms were excellent in every other respect, though morning traffic was a bit annoying on a working day. Staff were very friendly, customer service was perfect, and they were flexible about our needs. There’s a good parking garage close by for a small extra fee.

We spent four nights here, and the spacious rooms and very good breakfast both stood out. The staff were friendly too. There was a small issue with the bar across the road, but it was sorted the next day. The hotel manager came to apologize personally, which we appreciated. We’d certainly recommend the hotel.

A very bad experience, and I can't recommend it. The reception staff were unfriendly, and there was no tea or kettle in the room. The fridge was empty, and the restaurant wasn't open during basic hours. They charged a fee for the dog but provided no blanket or bowl. There was no carpet in the room, yet they wanted a 50 euro advance in case the dog damaged anything. What was there to damage, the curtains? The bathroom doors were noisy too.
