We enjoyed the spa, and the room and location were fine, but service was inconsistent. One staff member was especially helpful; others weren't. When our train couldn't reach its destination, the hotel offered little help, and we ended up relying on strangers to find the right buses. At the end of the trip, our child left a soft toy in the room. The manager asked a couple of questions, but nobody would actually check, and they were dismissive. Edit: The response below is exactly the dismissive attitude I mean. We stayed in October, but I'm writing now because our child has just been crying and asking why the hotel isn't sending his panda back. We're sure it was in the room, and it's heartbreaking.

The food was good and fresh, and the staff were friendly and attentive to little details across reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping. The restaurant's breakfast could use a wider selection of vegetables. Our second-floor room was quiet, and although the rooms aren't newly renovated, they are very well maintained and clean. The hotel is close to everything, just a 3-5 minute walk from the beach. The pool looked great, with a lovely view, but the weather wasn't good enough for us to enjoy it. Parking costs 12 EUR/day, and bikes can be rented for 8 EUR a day. It's better to book a bike one day ahead; we enjoyed a ride during our stay. Spa entry is 8eur. We didn't get to try it, maybe next time. There are entertainment events, including live music, many times a week. We saw lots of returning guests, which seems like a good sign. All in all, a good hotel.

The two-room suite was spacious and practical, and the large bathroom had two sinks, a tub, and a shower. It's a modern hotel close to the beach and places to eat, with a great breakfast buffet. The one problem was the heat: housekeeping switched off the A/C, so the room got excessively hot and took hours to cool down again.

Lovely service from all the staff, and the hotel is very good. The location is lovely too, just a five-minute walk to the beach. The only downside is there's nothing to keep the kids entertained.
