Cuevas El Moral

We had a fantastic weekend with friends and children, and I’d happily come back. The caves are exceptionally well equipped. If you need anything, your hosts, Andres and Lourdes, are glad to help. It’s a spectacular place, a real safe haven.

House number 1 has the hot tub, and it fits two adults comfortably, or two adults and two small children. The houses are fully independent, so although we crossed paths with other guests, we barely noticed them. Ours had a fireplace, kitchenware, towels, heaters, and the other basics. The one thing we all thought could be better was the rather flat pillows. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nearby, there’s a circular trail of about 11 km that starts where the trail sign is at the end of the village. With the children we took the shorter 3.5 km section to the caves and viewpoint. The gypsum formations in the area are striking too.

The house and facilities had everything needed for a pleasant stay, and the hosts were very friendly. The only downside was the Wi-Fi.

We felt right at home here, thanks in part to Andrés and Lourdes, who are wonderful people. Everything was clean and peaceful, and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Seeing the sunrise from the farmhouse window is priceless. The quality and price are very good, and it’s well worth visiting. We had a fantastic holiday in this spectacular place.
