The bedding smelled really fresh, and the room was spotless. They’d provided towels, toothpaste and a toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo, even a comb. It’s not a five-star hotel, but after a loooong drive I slept really well. The guy who checked me in was nice and still had energy to share a laugh, even though I arrived in the middle of the night at some godforsaken hour. The restaurant was super busy in the morning, so I grabbed a sandwich at the gas station. It was surprisingly good after ten hours in the car, and I couldn’t even finish it in one sitting. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

The place looked nice, but that was about it. We stopped for a break around 20:00 on December 1 after a long drive, and we were starving. The bar area, where they served coffee and food, was covered in flies. There were lots in the worker’s hair, too. We felt we had made a big mistake stopping, but my husband has diabetes and we needed to eat quickly. We ordered hamburgers with fries, but the meat smelled horrible and the fries were dry and hard. Flies kept bothering us while we tried to drink our coffees and eat, and we couldn’t finish the food. And at that price! It’s a real shame to see this in a place like this. I won’t even get into how our stomachs felt afterward. I can’t recommend it. Not worth even one star.

There’s loads of parking, and the rooms are lovely. The food was excellent, and so were the staff. Perfect.

A great road stop. The Spanish food was yummy, and there was a beautiful range of souvenirs, from ceramics and deli food to toys. The toilets were spacious, open, and clean. It’s near a gas station and has covered parking. As a bonus, we came across a pop-up melon stall.
