The village is small and charming, and makes a great base for exploring the area. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Guests can use a cozy little lounge, and the whole house is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good.

Niní is a warm, friendly owner who really knows hospitality. The house is exceptionally clean throughout, with a few spacious rooms and a reading room with large windows. It's high up in the village, very close to Castro Caldelas Castle, and parking is easy to find. A charming little rural hotel, highly recommended.

Nina is a lovely owner, attentive, friendly, and well-informed. She makes you feel even better than at home. For peace and quiet, good taste, and personal attention, this is the place. If you can, book Room 5, a beautiful attic with lovely valley views. It's quiet too, and best of all, there's no television. I highly recommend it.

After four days at Cima da Vila, we came away absolutely delighted. Everything was so well cared for, with cleanliness, order, and good taste throughout. The owner was kind, friendly, and welcoming, and we'll definitely want to return. We completely disconnected and had an experience we can recommend without hesitation. It's a pretty, welcoming place, well located, new, and very pleasant. Breakfast is good and starts at 9:00. As the lady serving us said, there's no rush: "in Castro Caldelas they start paving the streets late" :-)
