The door codes meant we didn't need keys, and it's close to the old town. The rooms were nice and the beds cozy, making for an excellent stay in Santiago.

A small apartment in a great location, just right for a few days exploring Santiago. Fantastic!

The apartment itself was great, apart from the hallway parquet, which is incredibly noisy and bothers the neighbors. And we did eventually get some rest and finish the Camino in the best way possible, thanks to Beatriz. When we return to Santiago, we'll stop by to say hello. Getting there was a mess. We had booked two days earlier, but only 20 minutes before 3:00 PM they emailed to say reception closed at 3:00 PM and gave a mobile number. I didn't see it until 5:00 PM, as we were arriving, and felt it should have been sent by text. When I called, the line disconnected, and for quite a while it wouldn't work. We found the apartment number online, but it turned out to be the same company and a different hotel. The woman who answered was quite rude and offered no help, just suggested we go to ANOTHER hotel from the same company that was supposedly "nearby." After walking 22km that day and another 200km a few days before, with blisters and her friends, I had to head to the "other" hotel. Thankfully Beatriz was there. It wasn't her responsibility, but she called around, looked into it, found out what was going on, and gave us a solution with real professionalism and a conciliatory manner. I'm giving the service one star because of everyone else involved. If Beatriz hadn't helped, I wouldn't have left a bad review, I'd have filed a complaint, maybe even worse. Many thanks to Beatriz.
