Spotless rooms and wonderful hospitality made for a fantastic stay.

It was busy, and the food and price were both just okay. Nothing special, though it wasn't bad either.

The food was delicious, portions were generous and varied, and the prices were excellent. Breakfast was top-notch too. The room and bathroom were both clean and spacious, and the place is right by the castle in a fantastic spot. Most of all, the staff were outstanding, especially the owners. They're kind and welcoming whether they've just met you or have known you forever. I felt right at home. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality. I highly recommend staying here, and I'll definitely be back to Castro Caldelas.

The price was good value, and the woman who checked us in was very friendly. The location is perfect, and the place met our needs. The room is outdated, which we already knew, and although it has radiators it still felt cold. You can hear everything, so rude neighbors can make it impossible to rest. The bed was comfortable for me, but my tall partner didn't like the old-fashioned footboard because he couldn't fit. When we showered, the water was lukewarm, almost cold. Maybe it was because my siblings were showering in the next room at the same time. Breakfast was okay, but it could have used something savory and protein-rich, like eggs or cold cuts.
