Ardigales 11

Getting bags upstairs was left to us, and there’s no lift. The service felt impersonal, and after walking all day on the Camino, it was disappointing not to have a kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Breakfast at the cafe around the corner was very basic, and noise from nearby rooms made it hard to sleep.

The room was small but did the job, and the place is basic. There’s a nice cafe across the street. An elevator would help with suitcases, though the guy at the front desk was nice.

It’s in a great spot, but there’s no elevator or air conditioning.

The place was listed under a name I didn’t recognize. I’d thought it was called Ardigales 11. During my stay, a power outage knocked out the card readers and left me locked out of my room for a few hours. Thankfully, it was fixed sooner than expected. The staff were friendly, and the location was great. Breakfast included cake, fresh orange juice, yogurt, fruit and toast, but only sweet toppings for the toast. I’d have liked something with protein, like peanut butter, ham or cheese.
