I had a horrible experience. I walked in, said hola, buenos dias, and no one replied. I ordered a lactose-free coffee, not too hot. Right in front of me, the bartender added regular milk from a bottle to my cup to cool it down, then topped it up with lactose-free milk. When I pointed out that it had regular milk in it too, she started swearing and insisting that wasn't true. I know the difference between a bottle of regular milk and lactose-free milk. Anyone can mix up the bottles or make a mistake, but cursing at a customer over it is unacceptable. I work as a waitress and bartender too.

With incredible ocean views, this café was a great stop on the Camino, about a two-hour walk from Tapia. The coffee and food were good and reasonably priced. If you're walking, it's the last ocean-view café in Asturias. Great place!

I stopped in for a morning coffee and sat on the little terrace out front, which looks over Penarronda beach. There’s also a larger terrace behind the building, without the beach view, that seems like a good spot for an afternoon beer. A nice place to start the day with coffee or drop by for a beer early in the afternoon.

For about a week, we came here for coffee every morning. Breakfast prices are amazing, and you can watch the surf from here. If you’re waiting on the tides or swells, it’s nice to get warm and take shelter inside.

We came for dinner in the evening. The setting is superb, and they serve through the afternoon and evening. It was clean and the service was okay. There was plenty of fish to choose from, but it cost over 20 €, so I went for the cheaper roast veal with red wine and a mixed salad. The portions were good, though the quality was only average. Our meal came to 25€, which isn’t cheap.
