Casa Palacio S. XVI

The apartment was decent and well maintained, but €140 for one night felt exorbitant for two couples. There was a small double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that sleeping on it was impossible.

Parking was difficult, though the location was very central. We were lucky enough to see some processions right outside our palace. The courtyard felt welcoming but was a little dirty, and the little sofa was very comfortable. The main bed was so small our feet hung over the end. The sofa bed frame dug into us, so we had to put its mattress on the floor to sleep. Check-in was an hour later than we’d been told. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, the heating worked properly, and the basic kitchen was functional. Watch out for the refrigerator, it gets colder than the mountains and freezes beer, iced drinks, and strawberries.

Everything I needed was there, and the place felt comfortable and cozy, with air conditioning. It made for a special, almost magical night.

They've made spectacular use of the room space. The place itself is lovely, with lots of antique pieces in the decor.
