El Molino Del Corcho

The apartment had no hot water, and after we told the service team about it, nobody got back to us. It was still cold the next day. We only found out at 9 p.m. that first night, so the shower was really unpleasant. Such a shame, because the setting is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and breakfast was really nice.

It feels like a charming little mountain cottage near Seville, with antique furniture and no luxury frills, which is just how we like it. The countryside setting does mean ants and wasps, but that’s normal around here. We love coming back for the peace and quiet.

The river’s right outside the room window, and you can hear it. It’s a beautiful hotel, and the staff were beyond wonderful. Almudena especially made the stay unforgettable and left me wanting to return soon. When I arrived, the owner couldn’t see me because her son was ill, so she called Almudena to help, and Almudena looked after me for the rest of my stay. Later I needed help with the television, and a man I think was the other owner came over. He seemed a bit serious, but was very kind. I didn’t get to meet the owners properly, but I couldn’t recommend the place more. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Molino del Corcho, and especially Almudena! :)

Waking up with the river beside the cottages is lovely, and there’s a pool too. The cottages are beautiful, comfortable, and especially cool in summer, with everything you need. The owners are delightful. We loved it and would definitely recommend staying here. SPECTACULAR!
