The spa was a nice extra, and the staff at reception were accommodating with transport and arranging hikes. It’s a great base for hiking in the area, though public transport is very limited. We’d hoped for a higher level of English from a four-star hotel. There weren’t many guests while we were there. Water dripping from the ceiling made the Turkish bath unpleasant, and paying by card was a hassle because the connection was poor. The restaurant could improve its vegetarian selection, with only 3 options out of 30 dishes on the menu.

The restaurant was a highlight. We had the half-board menu of the day, with a couple of vegetarian options, and all the food was excellent. Service at both the hotel and restaurant was very good, and the small spa had lovely mountain views. The hotel itself was a good experience, though the room was small and had air conditioning but no heaters. The WiFi worked well, but the toilet was cramped enough that I could hit my head on the ceiling. The beds and pillows were hard, there were no extra pillows, and light came in from the main corridor. It was good overall, and I’d recommend it.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, along with the staff at reception and in the dining room. The spa is beautiful, but the woman at its reception wasn’t kind and didn’t have the patience to explain it. The price is very high for the time allowed in the pool. Maintenance is average: the toilet wasn’t stable and the door blinds didn’t work. To get from our room to the lobby or spa, we had to cross a large open patio, and it was freezing outside. With some improvements, this hotel could be great.

We didn’t stay overnight, so I can only speak about the spa and restaurant, and I’d recommend both. The private jacuzzi room was a real treat. My favourite part was the hydro spa circuit, with natural sunlight coming through the windows. It made us want to stay all day. At the restaurant, the homemade chorizo and artichoke hearts with anchovies were both delicious.

The room was nothing special and there was no WiFi, though it was clean. It’s a little expensive, but the location is great, the pool is warm, and the view is awesome. There are a few rural routes in the area, and a nearby town is 5 minutes away by car.
