La Casa Chica is in a great spot, right across from the Cerezuelo River and beside the historic center. We stayed four days and found the house welcoming, thoughtfully put together, and equipped with everything we needed for a holiday in beautiful Cazorla. The service was more than satisfactory, and so was the value for money. I’d happily return.

We stayed for two days with my partner. The house is small and basic, and the heating setup isn’t really up to the job. The old split units are noisy and inefficient, and we arrived at night to a cold house that hadn’t been made welcoming for us. There was a small wood stove, but no firewood. It might be fine in summer or mild weather, but I wouldn’t return in winter.

The location was very good, but the house was so cold that we kept our down jackets on indoors for two days. We arrived at 10 pm, not 11 pm, and the heat pumps were completely off. We had to ask for help because it was unbearable, and there was no wood for the stove either. Renting a place in those cold conditions just isn’t right. A corkscrew would have been a basic thing to have, and if there’d been one we wouldn’t have had to call anyone. Happy Holidays! 🎄 I should also mention I got bed bug bites all over my back and legs.

The river is right beside the house, so we could listen to the water and watch the ducks. The views are beautiful, and it’s an excellent location. Everything was spotless, and the cozy house had all we needed. My partner and I felt comfortable there the whole time and will definitely return.
