I spent one night in the hostel, which is conveniently located between Muxia and Finisterre. The restaurant dinner was very nice, and all the staff were friendly. The place exceeded what I expected. It was spotlessly clean, with spacious rooms and a door leading to a small veranda. The bunk beds were comfortable. I paid a little extra for a lower bunk, and that fee was clearly shown on the website during booking. Each bed had a power outlet for charging phones and a cupboard for backpacks. The shower cubicle was a good size, with room to put clothes where they wouldn’t get wet.

The guy at reception gave us a very warm welcome, and we appreciated how flexible they were when we needed to change our reservation date at short notice because our plans had changed. We stayed in the Albergue, which was super comfortable and clean.

I live in the United States, where we take steak seriously, and this was the best steak I’ve ever had. The meat was incredibly tender, like butter, and the quality was second to none. It was also extremely cheap for what you get. Our waiter was a good kid and knew his stuff. If your walk brings you to this town, run to this restaurant.

A lovely hotel in a great spot for a superb local beach. It also works well for some excellent sections of the Camino dos Faros coastal walk, with a taxi to help out.
