Hotel La Torre del Canonigo - Small Luxury Hotels

We loved it. Ibiza can be relaxing and romantic too ❤️🫀🥰 The hotel feels like a boutique luxury stay inside Ibiza Old Town, with historic character, lovely views, and a quiet atmosphere away from the party chaos. It seems especially suited to couples, design lovers, or anyone after a special stay. The location is unreal, right within the walls of Ibiza Old Town (UNESCO site), and you can walk to everything while still enjoying some peace. The port and Mediterranean views are insane. There’s a beautiful pool with panoramic views, and the breakfast terrace was a highlight. It’s a unique, romantic, aesthetic place if that’s what you’re after. Just be ready for uphill walking and stairs 😂

The view completely stole my heart. It’s breathtaking and unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return. I wholeheartedly recommend this place 100%. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town and just steps from its history and charm. The staff were warm, caring, and exceptional, and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The rooms are on the small side, which is understandable in the old town where space is precious, and it’s clearly stated when booking. For me, that added to the authentic charm.

Just checked in and we’ve been squeezed into the worst room ever. It seems to back onto a building site. If you have a suitcase, there’s no room to unpack it, and the “bathroom” is almost unusable. It feels like they’ve extended the hotel into dodgy hostel accommodation in a separate building down the road. We paid for La Torre, but seem to have ended up in a place called El Corsario. Check the online ohotos and you can see the difference. The staff are nice, but the owners clearly seem to be trying to over-trade. My son is in another room and says we’re lucky, at least we have a mirror you can see yourself in. The wifi sucks too, so I’m struggling to post this. I’ll keep trying and hope it goes through. Can’t wait to leave. Please avoid.

The staff are what I love most about this hotel. They take care of every need without fuss, starting over WhatsApp before you arrive. You can message them day or night during your stay and they respond instantly. The views from the rooms and restaurant are gorgeous, and the swimming pool is peaceful and really lovely. I stayed twice, once last summer and again this summer, and both visits were brilliant. The hotel staff can drive you down to the Old Town in a car or buggy whenever you need. It takes 3 mins by buggy, or it’s a short walk downhill. I like being above the tourist-heavy restaurants and bustle while still being close and able to get there easily. When you’re coming back at night, check which taxi company you use, as only one has a licence to bring you all the way to the hotel entrance. Thanks for another great stay.
