Club Can Bossa

It was a very relaxing stay. The property is extremely well kept, the staff were really helpful, and the rooms were neat, clean, and nice. The beach is an easy walk away.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful with every request, and the pool area was nice. Getting around was easy too: the taxi from the airport took about 10 minutes and cost around 14 euros, while town and the beach were roughly a seven-minute walk away. You can hire towels as well. We were in block B, which might be an addition to the hotel. From the balcony, we looked out over neglected yards and a road, so it wasn’t a view I’d want again or enjoy sitting outside with. Noise was the other downside. Planes went overhead, guests and slamming doors carried through what seemed like thin walls, and we could hear coughing and other people’s alarms. Bring earplugs or headphones.

The reception team were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices with different items added each day. Some of the towels had old stains and could use replacing. Nights could be a little noisy, so earplugs are a good idea. The hotel is just off the main street, about a five-minute walk away. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to Ushuaïa nightclub, and there’s a bus stop on the main road with rides to Ibiza Town for about €2 per person. A taxi costs around €13 from the airport, and about the same to Ibiza Town. We really enjoyed our stay.

When I got ill one night, the staff kindly brought up a blanket and hot water when I asked, then called to see how I was doing. They were lovely throughout. My room was clean and tidy, with the cleaners coming in every day. It’s close to the party strip, but far enough away that it was still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. I’d have liked more vegetarian and vegan choices at breakfast, since there was more variety for non-vegetarians. Still, it was a lovely place to stay.
