They cancelled my whole reservation at the last minute, just before my trip, after I asked whether I could arrive on the second day and still pay for the full stay. At first they said that would be fine, then they denied having agreed when speaking with Booking. I got a full refund from Booking after explaining that I’d been misled, and found a better-rated place, but the last-minute cancellation caused a lot of trouble. Earlier, I’d asked about checking in a little later. They quoted an unreasonable extra charge. I’ve travelled for years and can’t remember another hotel that couldn’t find a safe way to leave keys for self check-in, though I suppose those are their rules. This was the worst situation I’ve had in years. It taught me how low “the cheapest” option can go on service. Some hotels seem to operate purely for profit, and next time I’ll be more careful about choosing a lower-rated place just to save money.

My flight was badly delayed, so I couldn’t get there before the last check-in time. The man at reception kindly waited and let me check in in the middle of the night. I’m really grateful for how flexible and kind he was. We had a double room and shared the bathroom and kitchen, which were both very clean and well kept. We had no trouble with noise or anything else. 5/5, would recommend. Thank you!

I travelled alone and felt safe and at ease here. The place was neat and clean, right in the city centre, and a good choice for budget travel. My single room didn’t have AC, but it did have a fan.

I urgently needed a bed at the last minute and found one here for 36 euros, so I’m really grateful. It’s a simple but practical place, with very kind staff. The Argentinian girl who checked me in was especially nice, and the location is excellent. If sharing a room is fine with you, go for it.
