Playa de Estorde

We chose this beachside stop on our Camino Fisterra as a treat, and the seafood looked so good. It lived up to that, and the weather was lovely, 22C with clear blue skies. We had wine on the terrace, then spent time on the sand and in the sea. The paella tapa and, later, Arroz caldoso con Bogavante were delicious. The dining room is elegant, with a lovely view over the little sandy bay. Our room was very comfortable, and lying with the windows open, listening to the waves and watching the sun set over the sea and palm trees, was such a delight. What a special place. If you get the chance to stop here, spoil yourself.

We stopped for coffee on our way to Finisterra on the Camino. The staff were very friendly, and it's a nice place to pause, with beach access and beautiful scenery. 👌

On a sunny day, the outside could hardly be more beautiful. There were no customers, though, and I had to go inside to find service. The interior looks beautiful but smells of cat wee. I ordered a small beer and a sandwich. 8€ for a boccadillio de jamon in Spain?

Glad we stopped! The view was excellent, and the seafood and drinks were great, too. We didn't stay at the hotel, which is three star, but staff said it has all the amenities. It was a great experience.
