A Casiña do Xastre

We travel often, and privacy and tasteful furnishings matter a lot when we choose where to stay. This place gets both just right. The house has been fully renovated and has everything you need, including a big terrace, a lovely barbecue area, and a wood-burning stove for colder days. The host is incredibly friendly. I can't think of a reason not to book it.

The owner was incredibly attentive, and we’ll definitely be back. Outside, the barbecue and dining area make a peaceful little haven in the heart of Galicia. The house in Pontevedra has lovely stone walls and is surrounded by greenery 😍. Skylights bring in the light and help give it a warm, bright feel.

Manuel, who helped us during the stay, was incredibly attentive. The house is a proper Galician home surrounded by nature, yet Pontevedra is only 15 minutes away, so it worked well for both relaxing and exploring the area. It also had those basic things you’d otherwise have to buy, like oil, salt, detergent, fabric softener, shower gel, and shampoo. Having them ready was great for a short stay.

The house was really clean and even lovelier and more welcoming than it looked in the photos. It had everything we needed for a great few days with the family. The hosts were attentive throughout and got in touch beforehand to make arriving easier. We’ll definitely be back!!
