Julio was attentive from the time we booked, sending directions and meeting us when we arrived to show us around. We’d love to return for longer, and I’m sure the place is lovely in summer. We stayed in winter and the heating was excellent. There’s a living room fireplace, and getting firewood was easy with the large woodshed outside. The three double bedrooms are spacious, and two have en-suite bathrooms. The main bathroom has a bathtub/jacuzzi that worked perfectly. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and everything we needed. Downstairs, the huge garage could easily hold three cars. It can also be used as a play area for children or to dry clothes, with another toilet and a washing machine right there. Outside, there’s a dining area and barbecue facing the Picos de Europa, with incredible views that must be especially pleasant in good weather.
