Calling this a four-star hotel is a bad joke. Even three stars would be a stretch, and after reading reviews of the other places, I suspect this may just reflect the general standard in Ceuta. The rooms are the tiniest I’ve ever seen. Walking around the bed takes acrobatics, and half the things in the room don’t work. There’s an AC unit but no remote. No safe, fridge, glasses, kettle, or napkins either. Getting anything fixed with the staff seems impossible. They speak only Spanish and don’t seem to care much.

After our wedding in Morocco, my wife and I stayed here for three days. I’d made a few requests because I wanted to surprise her, and when we got to the room it had been decorated nicely and there was even a cake. We had an amazing time, and the hotel service was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back.

The owner was especially helpful and kind throughout our stay at Hotel Hercules. Our room was tidy, well kept, and nice. We had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely return on our next trip to Ceuta. I’d happily recommend the place.

The staff were really friendly, and the small rooms were clean, well equipped, and had a coffee maker. Pretty much what you’d hope for from a little boutique hotel. I’d stay again.

The staff were good, and the place is right in the city centre. The rooms are very, very small for what they charge.
