The owners are lovely and attentive, and breakfast was delicious, with local bread and fresh orange juice. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, walking routes, and history. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re travelling nearby or bringing furry friends.

There’s lots to do nearby, though you’ll definitely need a car. This little gem welcomes dogs, so expect to see travellers’ pups wandering around and enjoying themselves. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are kept very clean, and breakfast is simple but good quality, with homemade items.

Yolanda was caring and attentive with us and our dog, Ricky, and gave us lovely recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was delicious, and the Pazo has gorgeous scenery and lots of thoughtful touches. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.

The setting is the highlight: lovely nature and views, with hardly any cell service or TV, so it’s great if you want a quiet rural break and a chance to disconnect. We were only there overnight and left the next morning, so didn’t get much time to enjoy the hotel. The rooms were fine, though they didn’t quite win us over, and it can feel chilly depending on the season. Breakfast was quite basic; in a place like this, more local choices such as cheese or eggs, or another protein-rich option, would’ve been welcome. Recommended for getting away from it all, though it may fall short if you’re after more comfort or a fuller experience.

The Pazo is impressive, with clean, well-kept interiors and rooms. Outside, there’s a large granary, centuries-old trees, and plenty of space to walk and relax. Yolanda took care of every detail, and we had a really pleasant, peaceful stay. The owners were kind and honest: they warned us the day before about nearby fires and made it easy for us to cancel. It was a wonderful experience, and I’ll try to return when I have more time.
