Albergue Inturjoven Chipiona - Hostel

All good.

We were there in August 2025. The staff were really attentive, and the room was very nice, though I did miss having a small fridge. The location was perfect. Breakfast was okay, but lunch and dinner were very basic. There wasn't much variety or enough fruit, and after four days the repeated meals got tiring.

The beds were comfortable, which mattered to us, and the reception and dining room staff were friendly. We only stayed a few days, and being right by the beach was a great location. The rooms felt old and were just okay. Some sheets had small marks that might not wash out, but one had what looked like red paint on it. Cleaning wasn't very thorough, either. We had to make the beds and leave things tidy ourselves. They also said they weren't responsible for anything missing from the room, so it made us uneasy. I didn't leave anything in the wardrobe because it gave me the creeps, and we packed our belongings into our suitcases each day. The dining room food was mediocre, like a school cafeteria. You could eat it, though.

The food was terrible, and you have to pay for it. Our room was very old, with antique furniture. There was just one outlet in a corner and no switches by the bedside tables. The bathroom also connected to the next room's bathroom through a hole low in the wall, so we had to block it with a towel.
