The only real drawback was how limited the parking is. Otherwise, it was fantastic. My partner and I stayed from August 1st to 10th, and we were delighted with the service from the housekeeping staff and the owner. It’s a welcoming, charming place with a lovely courtyard and wonderful peace and quiet, close to several beaches and right in the city center. We’ll definitely return and stay there again. The location is right in the town center, surrounded by shops, bars, and a few banks. Regla beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and the Cruz del Mar promenade is right beside it. Even with all that going on, street noise didn’t disturb our sleep. It’s a lovely Andalusian-style hostel, with really pretty shared spaces that feel cool and pleasant. The rooms are more modest and a bit dated, from the furniture and paint to the full bathroom, but they have what a traveler needs: very comfortable beds and pillows, reliable hot water, a fridge, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable temperature. There’s a ceiling fan if needed, though it usually wasn’t. The man at reception, perhaps the owner, was very pleasant, and the whole place was super clean. It’s great value, and I’d recommend it and come back if I can.

The service was good, and the location couldn’t be more central. But the furniture is extremely old and full of moths, while the wardrobes are unusable because of their musty smell. Given the market now, I think the price is too high.
